MEGAFAUNA TO PERFORM AT MIDSUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL IN SMITHERS, BC!!
That's right folks, y'boy has his first LIVE festival appearance booked! I'll be appearing at the 42nd Annual Midsummer Music Festival in Smithers, BC. I don't currently know which day or time or stage or any of that shit, but what I do know is that it will be the first performance of Prepare to Meet God, so it's going to get real stupid.

I'm also thrilled to announce the that I've booked a venue for SOMNAMBULIST: a live scored screening of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Tickets available for this one in September, but I'm still very excited. If you would like to book a showing please let me know.

NEW MUSIC IS COMING
At time of writing, I'm two days out from the release of my debut EP from VNRL - a doomer noise project that has already been described as "so jarring it gave me heart palpitations" - so hopefully that tells you what you're in for. It also features the exceptional Garry Brents (Memorrhage, Homeskin, Gone Mage) and KM North (Youth Pastor, Gloom Mouth, Coffin Womb) - two of, maybe, the most prolific artists I have ever met in my life. This is the project into which I pour all of my anger, nihilism, and outward disdain for the world around me, so, enjoy that.

WHAT EVEN IS THIS?
I mentioned this in the previous TMTM, but What Even Is This? continues to be a very pleasant surprise. New posts have been going up every few days at least, and people seem to like it. If you missed it, its a place to find music that refuses to be defined or that struggles to find an audience. Independent and experimental are my only real expectations. No AI art either.
