I thought I'd get the inaugural newsletter for the year out of the way right away, and I hope that it finds you healing from a night of debauched fun. Or, if you're like me, maybe you went to bed at 11:00 and thought "close enough". Either way, I'm glad you're here.

What's happening?

Honestly gang, not much.

The main thing to let you know is that the sophomore album from MEGAFAUNA, I Owe This Land a Body, releases on Friday January 3rd (yes, that's right, this Friday!). I'm extremely proud of it, and I hope that you'll support it. Here is the truly stunning art by Little Ghost Elli.

You can pick this up on CD, Cassette, or digital - it will also be available on your preferred streaming services if that's where you're at. No shade. You can check things out on Bandcamp or Ampwall (all the links are below).

Oh! I will be working on setting myself up to play live in such a way that looks cool and moody but doesn't destroy my knees, so look forward to that in 2025 I guess. First show - at this point - will be in Hazelton BC on February 21st, 2025 so that's exciting!

No formal announcements for Grumm Trencher yet, but expect something I'm sure.

Syrup Moose Records has entered its hibernation. No new releases from SMR for 2025 while I focus on clearing pre-orders, getting the existing stock moved, and just trying to re-evaluate what I want to do there.
