A happy February to you and to yours. I hope - as cliche and tedious as it is - that this e-mail finds you well. It finds me exhausted and feeling drained out. The world has been challenging - that's not news to anyone I'm sure, but I do have some fun things to share. --- MEGAFAUNA First and foremost: THE CD'S ARRIVED! Holy god damn shit. I'm so excited that they're finally here. They look absolutely stunning. I still haven't sold enough cassettes to do a run, but I am going to try and make it happen regardless. You can still pick up cassettes and CDs on Bandcamp and Ampwall! Next huge and exciting thing! If you live in VANCOUVER, you're going to have a chance to see my composer's cut of the 1922 version of NOSFERATU on the big screen! That's right folks, To The Land of Ghosts will be playing, one night only, at the Hollywood Theatre! I am indescribably excited about this - and the only bummer is that I won't be there for it! Go get yourself some tickets, and please take pictures and let me know how it goes.
--- VNRL The debut VNRL EP, SICK, releases on May 2nd, 2025 and the debut single, Black Bile releases on February 14th! You can pre-order now if you want, and - extremely excitingly - the single has a feature from the absolutely relentlessly talented, Homeskin (aka Garry Brents!). It's going to get gross.
--- HOLY FOREST DESIGN Sometimes wonderful things happen on the internet, and Holy Forest Design is one such wonderful thing. Started by happenstance, this is a new venture for yours truly - making affordable and spectacular album art with the excellent Peder from Nirensimt (and other things). We've already had the privilege to work on the upcoming Ashen Pall record art, and a few other things - and we are offering a discounted rate of $50 to our first 5 clients. Only four of those remain, so act fast. And remember. AI is for quitters.
